These organizers help the student to make sense of the most important points or ideas of a lesson. The organizers do just that, organize information in a meaningful way for the student.

Graphic organizers produce learning effects that are substantial and long lasting by illustrating to the student the structure of a concept and all the connections to the concept. Graphic organizers provide students with a clear visual understanding of what they are learning.
